god the father
We believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, which teaches that there is one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God born of the virgin Mary, and is both fully God and fully man. We also believe that He died by crucifixion, was buried, and physically rose from the dead.
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirt is the third Person of the Trinity and is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son.
The bible
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inerrant Word of God, written by men through divine inspiration.
faith alone
We believe that the Bible teaches that a person is saved by God's grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
Baptism
We believe that Baptism is one of the miraculous means of grace through which God creates and/or strengthens the gift of faith in a person’s heart.
communion
We believe the same Jesus who died is present in the Sacrament; we receive in, with, and under the bread and wine the true body and blood of Christ shed on the cross, Jesus Christ Who is now risen and ascended and sits at the right hand of God the Father.
THe Lutheran Church missouri synod
Our Savior Lutheran Church is affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

The word “Synod” in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod comes from Greek words that mean “walking together.” The term has rich meaning in our church body because congregations voluntarily choose to belong to the Synod.

With the universal Christian Church, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God:

the Father, creator of all that exists;

Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and
the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments.

The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.
